Why is this important?

FoodShare is Wisconsin's Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and it helps low-income Wisconsin residents buy food. The purpose of the program is to help people of all ages who have low-income jobs, live on a small or fixed income, are retired, have lost their jobs, or people with disabilities who can't work.
